MAC Archies Girls Blush in Cream Soda: Review

The MAC Archies Girls collection was released in MAC stores on there website on Wednesday so I had a little look and got myself something. Here's what I got...

Betty Blush in Cream Soda £19 

This collection isn't technically new as it has been out for a little while but it was exclusively at Selfridges until Wednesday. I don't like buying make up on line if I haven't seen it in the flesh and I don't have a Selfridges near me so I waited until it came to MAC stores. All the Archies Girls products have limited edition packaging which is white with pictures of Archie, Betty and Veronica and lovehearts. As this is Betty's blush it just has a picture of Betty. MAC describe it as a light neutral coral with a satin finish. I noticed that this has some subtle glitter or shimmer in it when you look at it in the pan so isn't  completely matte but it is a beautiful colour. I wouldn't say it was coral per say as I think of coral as a deeper shade, its more like a pastel peach shade i think. This isn't the most pigmented blush but it builds well, it blends beautifully and looks really light and fresh on the skin. I just think this is a lovely easy to wear colour that will go with anything that you have on your eyes or lips. I have built it up a bit in this pic as hubby kept saying you couldn't see it! Looking at this piccie I think he needs his eyes tested but it does give you a nice idea how it looks on the skin. Speaking of which please excuse mine I'm having the worlds worst breakout at the moment grrr and some are freckles. Here comes the swatch...
